“Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything.”
Fall program starts September 17
The Dutchess County-based Aerophone Band is for woodwind, brass and percussion players, both youth and adults, who want to enrich their playing experience by working with other musicians from throughout the mid-Hudson Valley. The band is under the direction of Richard Holod, an instrumental music teacher with nearly 25 years experience.
Students who are in eighth grade and above are welcome to join, but they must be participants in their school band program. Adults of any age are welcome -- and encouraged -- to join.
Rehearsals are held at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesdays. This fall, there will also be a saxophone ensemble that meets weekly before the full band rehearsal, from 5:30 to 6:20 p.m.
If you are interested or would like more information, please e-mail Rich Holod, call
